At 0900 Engine 2-1 was placed in service.This 2005 KME engine has a 1000 gallon tank with Compressed Air Foam (CAFS). There are three 200' crosslays, one 2-1/2' and the deck gun which are all CAFS capable. The unit carries 1200' of 5" and 600' of 3" supply line, assorted fire tools, and ladders. The cab seats 8, 5 with airpacks.

At 11:00 AM, the former Engine 2-1 was driven to its new home at the Adams County Training Center (ACTC.) The membership decided to donate the engine in place of selling it, with the feeling that it would be a great benefit to the ACTC. The engine was donated almost fully equipped.

Placed In Service
In 2004, a grant was submitted
to the OSFC and accepted for
the purchase of rope rescue
equipment for our station. The
equipment arrived in January
and has since been placed in
service on Engine/Rescue-2.
This equipment consists of:
Lifeline and utility rope, carabiners,
"rescue 8s", pulleys,
bar racks, and full-body harnesses.
