Structure Fire - Carroll Valley, PA

At 23:49 Fairfield Fire and EMS was dispatched for a reported structure fire. Engine/Rescue-2 was the first unit on the scene with heavy fire showing through the roof and an automatic second alarm was requested. The initial attack was defensive with 2 handlines from the exterior, also preotecting the exposed residence on side D. The fire was fully extinguished around 2:15 and units cleared the scene at 3:32. Fairfield Fire and EMS was assisted by: Carroll County Engine/Tanker-11, Frederick County Engine/Tanker-64, Engine-63, and Tower-6, Adams County Company 3, Adams County Company 4, and Adams County Company 23.
